Fantasy Series – The Tales of The Lost North

The Tales of the Lost North

Drafts of worldbuilding over the 10 years…

The Tales of the Lost North is a dark fantasy series built over more than 10 years of worldbuilding, hand-drawn maps, hidden histories, and stories that slowly uncover a larger truth.

Some books focus on friendship and fading magic. Others descend into corruption, prophecy, fear, and collapse. Together, they form fragments of a larger world where the past is never truly buried.

This long-running project includes hundreds of hand-drawn maps, dozens of major characters with interconnected storylines, family trees, thousands of years of history, and short stories tied to a larger epic narrative.

Each book reveals another part of the world, its rulers, its ruins, its betrayals, and the lives caught in the middle of forces much older than themselves.

All cover art in the series is hand-drawn by the author.

Book I – The Hunt for the Vanishing Magic of the Lost North

Some journeys begin with a choice. Others with fate.

This one begins with old friends, bad decisions, and a world slowly losing its magic.

In the Northern Continent, shaped by corrupt rulers and generations of destructive choices, three old friends reunite around a campfire for what should have been a simple journey. Instead, they are drawn into something far greater.

Magic is fading. Ancient knowledge is slipping away. Shadows are stirring in the North. What begins as one last adventure becomes a deeper journey into mystery, friendship, and truths buried beneath history.

A character-driven fantasy filled with layered worldbuilding, hand-drawn maps, old friendships, humor, and growing darkness.

Book II – Echoes of the Past

A king was executed by his own council.

No one agrees why.

Some say madness. Others believe he discovered something that would have destroyed the North.

After his death, trust collapses, alliances fracture, and old wounds reopen. As fear spreads and the threat of civil war grows, multiple lives become tangled in the consequences of what was buried and what should never have been forgotten.

A darker story of fractured loyalties, hidden knowledge, and truths that refuse to remain silent.

Book III – Decay of the Grand Harbor of Fedreim

Welcome to Fedreim.

Once the greatest harbor of the Northern World, it now rots beneath its own stone and banners.

Power has replaced law. Gold has replaced loyalty. Mercy has long since drowned beneath the waves.

As noble houses turn against one another and foreign princes arrive with hidden intentions, five lives collide in the fog-covered streets of a city ruled by corruption, fear, and quiet violence.

A dark fantasy novella set one thousand years before the main saga, exploring power, moral decay, manipulation, and survival in a city on the edge of collapse.

Book IV – At the Edge of Rock Bottom

Blurb:

Tymon. He was a blue-eyed child. Life was yet to come. Dreams that never came true are no longer remembered in his mind.

Or maybe they were…

A young, strong, and strong-willed man had all the prerequisites for a good life. A lost one, now years later.
Born into a wealthy noble family, raised in a good community, a tough, sober, and fair man did not choose wrongly. No, the world just kicked him in the face.

He had a beautiful wife and dreams of starting a large family and having more children in the future. And one day, in his old age, he will be a grandfather to the children of these children. His dream was to grow up to be a royal, respected, and respected knight who would protect his community and intervene in injustices.

But… The twisted mind of man, envy and hatred, hit him unfortunately at the weakest point in his life. Backstabbing, exile, and rejection by his own community have left Tymon bitter. It started as a small snowball rolling down a snowy mountain, causing an avalanche that brought him to rock bottom.

Now… Tymon lives beyond the reach of the Northern Kingdoms, in a remote, cold valley, where only criminals and outlaws can find their way. And there, the tragic figure’s life is wasted, so much so that he literally screams for help. But, desperate in a place where the law of the jungle reigns, he cannot show his weaknesses.

He makes enemies. He descends into a vicious opium addiction. His entire former heroic identity crumbles, while the spiral only takes him deeper into the abyss. Every day is a survival, and bitter memories of times he would never see again.
This is not a story about heroes.

There are no heroes in this story; there are only victims…

This is a tragic story about a man who had everything he needed to survive, but the influence of his environment turned him into an anti-hero.

And now, when all hope is gone, Tymon tries to get up one last time…

But will life kick him back to his knees?

This story is suitable for everyone who loves:

-Psychological dark fantasy
-Dark themes
-Antagonists whose strength is not physicality, but poisonous words
-A large and rich lore, where even small things are part of a larger world.

The story contains powerful scenes, such as friends being stabbed in the back, addictions, and desperate survival. And above all, psychologically frightening human monsters whose only joy in life is to discourage others with whom they live.

Book V – Eyes of the North

He has seen the future.

In every version, he becomes the killer.

He saw himself kill his friend. Now he must reach him before it happens.

Nbrezor and Larze are on the run, hunted by a ruthless queen and haunted by something even worse. The man coming to save them already knows how it ends, and in every vision, his hands are stained with their blood.

A psychological dark fantasy about prophecy, fear, control, and the moment you stop trusting your own mind.
